Theodore V. Olsen papers, 1955-1983.

Collection consists of literary manuscripts and professional correspondence. Many of the author's novels, and some shorter works, are represented in draft, outline, and/or proof forms. Included with many items are brief introductory remarks typed by Olsen or an assistant. Of particular value are the many working drafts that reflect Olsen's creative process. However, there are few materials that provide insight into the author's personality and life.
